SB444 HFIN AMT 4-10

     The Committee on Finance moves to amend the title of the bill to read as follows:

    Eng. Senate Bill No. 444 –– “A BILL to amend and reenact §12-1-12d of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended; to amend and reenact §18B-2A-1 and §18B-2A-3 of said code; to amend and reenact §18B-7-11 of said code; and to amend and reenact §18B-19-6 of said code, all relating to higher education generally; increasing the amounts that Marshall University and West Virginia University may have invested with their respective foundations under certain conditions; authorizing certain members of institutional governing boards are eligible to succeed themselves under certain conditions; collecting, synthesizing and disseminating data from state institutions of higher education; directing institutional boards of governors to cooperate in certain data-related operations; providing certain privacy protections for data; exempting the West Virginia Policy Commission and West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education from meeting certain employee ratios; modifying the method of calculating certain employee ratios; and expanding certain authority regarding approval process for certain capital projects.”.
